History

Charli’s Charity began with an idea born from love, loss, and the desire to create something meaningful in Charli’s memory. Just a few months after the loss of our baby girl, Charli, my wife shared the vision of creating a nonprofit that could bring people together to support children and families in need.

From that moment forward, we began taking the steps necessary to turn that vision into reality. Charli’s Charity was officially filed with the State of Michigan and approved on April 3, followed by the opening of our nonprofit bank account on April 9. On May 4, we proudly received approval of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, officially establishing Charli’s Charity as a recognized charitable organization.

What started as an idea during one of the most difficult times in our lives has grown into a mission centered around compassion, community, and creating lasting impact in honor of Charli.
